Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the All Voices App (the "App"), operated by African Languages Lab AI Solutions LTD ("All Voices", "we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using the All Voices App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction, to use the App.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You meet the applicable minimum age requirement.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a legally binding agreement.
• If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian.

To access certain features of the All Voices App, you must create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree to use the All Voices App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• Disrupt or interfere with the App or its infrastructure.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users.

The All Voices App may allow you to create, upload, submit, or share content, including text, voice recordings, images, comments, translations, and other materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant African Languages Lab a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, distribute, and use your content solely for:

• Operating and maintaining the All Voices App.
• Providing services requested by you.
• Improving our products and services.
• Research and platform enhancement where permitted by law or where your consent has been obtained.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content:

• Complies with applicable laws.
• Does not infringe the rights of third parties.
• Does not contain unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or harmful material.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

To maintain a safe and respectful community, you agree not to:

• Publish offensive, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory content.
• Harass or bully other users.
• Spread false or misleading information intended to cause harm.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Promote illegal or dangerous activities.

Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

Where paid services are available:

• Payments are processed by authorized third-party payment providers.
• We do not store your complete payment card information.
• You agree to provide accurate billing information.
• Transactions are subject to the applicable payment provider's terms.
• Unless otherwise required by law, fees paid are non-refundable.

Except for User Content, all content, software, trademarks, logos, graphics, and other materials within the App are owned by or licensed to African Languages Lab AI Solutions LTD.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the App.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code except where permitted by law.

The All Voices App may include links to or integrate third-party services.

We are not responsible for:

• Third-party content.
• Third-party privacy practices.
• Availability or performance of third-party services.

Your use of such services is governed by their own terms and policies.

Your use of the All Voices App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the App, you consent to the collection, processing, storage, and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana, where applicable.

The All Voices App uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to provide features such as speech recognition, transcription, translation, language processing, voice analysis, content generation, and other language-related services.

By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate, complete, or free from errors.
• AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated outputs before relying on or sharing them.
• We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue AI features at any time.

Certain features of the All Voices App allow you to submit voice recordings, speech samples, text, translations, annotations, or other language data.

By submitting such materials, you represent that:

• You have the legal right to submit the content.
• You have obtained all necessary permissions where another person's voice or personal information is included.
• Your submissions do not infringe the rights of any third party.

Subject to your permissions and applicable law, you grant African Languages Lab AI Solutions LTD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Process your submissions to provide requested services.
• Improve speech recognition, translation, transcription, and language technologies.
• Develop, evaluate, and enhance AI models.
• Create anonymized or aggregated datasets for research, quality assurance, and product improvement.

Where required by law, such processing will only occur with your explicit consent.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and other applicable laws.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Obtain information about how your personal data is processed.

Requests may be submitted using the contact details provided in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to use the App or its AI capabilities to:

• Generate unlawful or fraudulent content.
• Create content promoting violence, terrorism, hate speech, or discrimination.
• Produce deceptive deepfakes or impersonate another individual without authorization.
• Infringe intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to manipulate, reverse engineer, or exploit our AI systems.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

To advance language technologies, we may use anonymized or aggregated information to:

• Improve speech recognition and translation.
• Enhance AI and language models.
• Evaluate system performance.
• Support academic and linguistic research.
• Improve accessibility and user experience.

Any processing involving personal information will be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.

By creating an account or using the All Voices App, you consent to receive electronic communications from us regarding:

• Account notifications.
• Security alerts.
• Service updates.
• Changes to these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
• Customer support communications.

Marketing communications will only be sent where permitted by law or with your consent, and you may opt out at any time.

If you access the All Voices App outside Ghana, you are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with all applicable local laws and regulations.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities.
• Misuse the App or interfere with its operation.

You may terminate your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting our support team.

The All Voices App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or complete accuracy of all content or AI-generated outputs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, African Languages Lab AI Solutions LTD shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, business opportunities, revenue, or data arising from your use of the App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless African Languages Lab AI Solutions LTD, its officers, employees, affiliates, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the All Voices App.
• Your breach of these Terms.
• Your infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law principles.

The parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiations.

If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration in accordance with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798) of Ghana. Where arbitration is not applicable, the courts of Ghana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and African Languages Lab AI Solutions LTD regarding your use of the All Voices App.

We may revise these Terms from time to time.

Where changes are made, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date.
• Notify users where required by applicable law.

Continued use of the All Voices App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you download the App through the Apple App Store / Play Store:

• These Terms are between you and African Languages Lab AI Solutions LTD, not Apple Inc. / Google.
• Apple/Google is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple/Google has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services.
• Apple/Google is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them where applicable.
